Veedersburg - Marvin L. Crumley, 69, Veedersburg died at 11:50 p.m. Friday Sept 19, 1997 in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He was born in Fountain County July 6, 1928, the son of Fred W. and Georgia Nine Crumley. He married Does E. Keeling Oct 30, 1954 in Veedersburg. She survives. He was employed by Smith Plumbing & Heating, Veedersburg. He was a member of the American Legion Post #288 of Veedersburg, the American Legion Post #188 of Hillsboro and VFW Post #1431 of Crawfordsville. Surviving are three daughters Marvalene (Michael) Hunt, Westville, Ill; Diana (Glenn) Knect and Arletta (David) Brown, both of Lafayette; a sister, Leona Crumley, Veedersburg; 8 grandchildren and two greats. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg with Rev. Roy Hunt officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Preferred memorials to the American Legions or the VFW.
